 𓃠Hypatia of Alexandria𓃠

I had to do an assignment about an extraordinary woman, so I chose Hypatia, an amazing scientist who managed to achieve, with her intelligence, being listened to. 

She was quite brave and very kind, she didn't discriminate anyone! Hypatia was admired by lots of people although the difficult times there were for women to be recognized. She taught a lot of men, from different cultures like equals, and thanks to her father's importance, she was accepted in the upper charges. 

The tragedy of her life was her death, although she was older, she didn't die naturally, a group of Christians killed her. Some sources say the reason of the murder was a rumor about her that said she didn't want the Prefect of Alexandria to reconcile with the Bishop. Her murder shocked all the empire and influenced later phylosophers and the opposition to Christianity some of these had. She was used as a symbol of different things in the years that followed.
